Meet this year's Division Leadership Team!
lieutenant governor: Hyeveen Cho
Hello BEE-autiful Division 38 West Owls!
My name is Hyeveen Cho and for this 2015-2016 administrative term, I have the immense honor of serving all of you as Lieutenant Governor. To tell you a little bit about myself, I joined Key Club in my freshmen year after I was introduced to it by one of my closest friend. I can vividly remember my first Division Council Meeting, where Lieutenant Governor Rashika introduced all of us to the “How Do You Feel?” cheer. To be quite honest with you, I felt a little embarrassed being in such an awkward environment. But I soon realized that it wasn't awkward at all, because everyone around me was proudly doing this cheer. That was when I came to understand the true meaning of Key Club and the Ohana it represented. From that point on, I received the inspiration to go above and BEE-yond in this club, and to get myself more involved in serving my community with this awesome family.
I am truly excited for this 2015-2016 term, and I hope that it would be one filled with endless service opportunities, learning moments, and most importantly, Ohana! Whether you are a member who has just experienced your Key Club moment, or an officer who has been with the Ohana, I have great expectations for each and every one of you. I know for a fact that if we work together as a Division this year, we can achieve feats never imagined before!
We will soar above and beyond the limits of service!

Division Executive assistant (Division Specialist): Margarett Lee
I was first introduced to Key Club when I was in seventh grade by my
sister; therefore, when I entered high school, I was already very
familiar with this club. I was excited to join Key Club, because I
knew that it would help me carry on the unique experiences of serving
my community. After my first Key Club service event, I went home and
researched what Key Club was all about. To my surprise, I found out
that this was an enormous international organization, and it took
global initiatives to help people all around the world. I came to
realize that this club allows us to lead by serving our home, school,
and community. I cherish and admire our efforts to make a difference
by helping others, making an enormous impact on people around the
world. I am enthralled to be one of the busy BEEs representing D38W!

Division Secretary: parth kurani
Hi, my name is Parth Kurani, and I am your 2015-2016 Key Club Division Secretary. 2 years ago, as a shy, timid freshman, I decided to join Key Club. As a freshman, I joined hoping that Key Club would be a viable place for me to make new friends. However, it has grown on me into something much more than just that. Key Club has not only been a place where I met new people, developed, new friendships; but it has also been a place where I have been able to serve the community I so luckily live in. It has also allowed me to serve each and every one of you BEE-utiful people not only in our division, but all of those in our Ohana. And so for that, I am delighted to represent our very own D38W!

DIVISION PTP AND TASK COORDINATORS: Jaylene gutierrez & samantha araniva
Hi! My name is Jaylene and this has been my first year being an owl. Through this club I have met incredible people and found it to be the most friendly and welcoming thing I have ever been a part of. One of the things that impresses me the most about key club was that everyone cheers one another on. There are no boos instead it was filled with cheering and support no matter how small the division. My goal not only in key club but life in general is to make some sort of impact and I found that making someone feel like they matter makes an enormous difference. My motivation for wanting to be part of the division leadership team is to make this same impact starting with the division. I have only been a key clubber for a year but in this year I have found another family. I came in hoping to get a few hours of service done but I ended up finding that we are so much more that that. I always hear fellow owls say we are a family and I have found that to be completely true. Along with feeling like I am not alone thanks to the other owls my favorite part of this organization is knowing that I am part of something that is making a difference somewhere in someone’s life, and if there was ever a way for me to help make an even bigger impact and aid those who also want to do the same it’s being part of this organization.

Hey Key Clubbers!
My name is Nitesh Sunko. I am one of the new PTP and Project Eliminate coordinators! I'm a sophomore at Quartz Hill High School and I joined Key Club as a freshman. When I first joined Key Club, I thought it was just a club for volunteering activities but it's so much more. I never expected to become such a spirited member but after going to various events , this club became something I knew I would want to spend the rest of my high school career participating in. Key Club is a great way to make many new friends from any school in your division; I've made quite a few and hope to make many more. Even with all of its greatness, from the start all I am interested in doing is helping out the community and have fun while doing it. I'm glad I joined this club and I'm sure anyone else who has also is.

Hello my fellow D38W Owls!
My name is Sophie Bryden and I am proud to announce that I am your 2015-2016 Member Recognition Coordinator. As your MR Coordinator it is my mission to make sure that all of you wonderful Key Clubbers are being recognized for your incredible accomplishments within the club and community. I am currently a sophomore at Quartz Hill High School. I joined Key Club as a freshman not expecting anything more than your typical high school club. I soon realized that it was going to have a major impact on my life when i attended my first RTC when I fully became aware of how large Key Club is as an organization. I love the energy it provides and the amazing people it has introduced me to. Most of all I love all the good that Key Cub does for our communities. I hope that together we can have an amazing year in our division and I can come to know as many of you as possible!
